So many years I searched to find myself.

Turns out I didn’t need to discover what already existed.

I needed to be transformed brand new into a true identity with Christ.

This culture emphasizes so much on the importance of self and identity.

The reason so many feel lost.

Lost in searching for a treasure with a falsified map.

After years of looking the effects of the journey became more evident than what I set out to discover.

Confusion, bitterness, pain, exhaustion, loneliness, anxiety, anger, pride, and frustration to only name a few.

I finally surrendered and everything began to change.

Identity was never meant to be discovered through self.

It was meant to be received and restored through Christ.

I found freedom not by the victory of finding myself but in self surrender.

Christ gave me something far greater than self discovery.

Jesus gave me new life.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17
